Kevin Fitzsimons — Negotiator & Valuer

Born and raised in Mullahoran, County Cavan, Kevin takes great pride in his roots and heritage. He began his educational journey at Ard Scoil Phadraig in Granard, where he completed his Leaving Certificate. It was during these years that he developed a strong interest in both property and business, passions that have guided his career ever since.

After completing school, Kevin gained valuable hands-on experience working in the construction sector, both locally in Cavan and in Dublin. This practical experience, combined with his academic pursuits, led him to study Auctioneering, Valuation, and Estate Agency at DIT Bolton Street, Dublin, where he successfully earned a Level 8 degree.

He then transitioned into the public sector, where he spent 15 years refining his interpersonal and professional skills. In this role, he dealt with legal cases and the courts in Dundalk and Bailieborough, gaining deep insights into the legal aspects of property and business.

In addition to his professional career, Kevin pursued his passion for farming by studying at Ballyhaise Agricultural College, where he completed his Green Cert. Farming is not just a profession for him, but a way of life. He is actively involved in running both his own and his family’s farm, focusing on organic beef production.

A former GAA player, Kevin had the honor of being part of many successful Mullahoran teams. Although he is now retired from playing, his love for sports continues, and he remains active in running and farming. He balances a busy professional life with his dedication to family and the simple pleasures of life in rural Ireland.

As one of the newer members of the Smith Property team, Kevin is passionate about the sales process, farm leases, and assisting clients in completing their transactions smoothly. He thrives on meeting new people and is committed to advancing within the property services industry. His goal is to become a member of the IPAV and to continue growing in this dynamic field.

Whether on the farm, on the field, or in the property market, Kevin brings the same commitment, passion, and pride that have been the hallmarks of his life.
