Smith Property is a respected, long-established property firm with deep roots in County Cavan, built on over four decades of trusted service. Founded in 1984 by Padraig Smith in Ballyjamesduff, the company quickly earned a strong reputation through integrity, dedication, and exceptional local knowledge. Expansion followed in 1996 with the opening of a second office in Cavan Town, allowing the firm to serve a wider client base across the county.
Following Padraig’s passing in 2013, leadership transitioned to his son, Raymond Smith. A qualified residential and commercial valuer, Raymond has upheld the core values on which the business was founded while modernising the firm to meet the changing needs of today’s market. His service on the National Council of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) and the Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) stakeholder committee reflects a continued commitment to the highest professional standards.
In 2025, Smith Property further strengthened its presence with the opening of a third office in Bailieborough, reinforcing its commitment to accessibility and local service across County Cavan. Today, the firm operates from Ballyjamesduff, Cavan Town, and Bailieborough, with each office staffed by experienced, PSRA-licensed professionals delivering a full range of property services, including sales, lettings, property management, valuations, and advisory.
